It was a long time ago I obverved Venus during day time. This afternoon, with a blue sky, I found Venus South West of the sun. My scope was pointed at the sun and using the coordinates from the Astrocalender Heelal. It was rather easy to locate Venus as it showed up as a very bright dot within the finder. Currently Venus is 46% illuminated.
This afternoon the temperature went up till 29,5°C. Clear sky and thus time to take some pictures of the sun using PST40. A total of 3 prominences could be observed.
