Lunt or PST Coronado

During today's Solar View Day I was impressed when looking to the sun using solarscope Lunt owned by one of our Helios members. I was easy to see the protuberance aswell a the sunspots. Using my Orionxt 12 with Baader film in visual yellow was different but less spectacular. When looking into the PST Coronado 40mm it was difficult to have a stable view. This was probably caused by heavy wind aswell high clouds. During the next days i will try out the PST.

July 5th Flanders Solar Viewing Day

After an entire week of sunshine and more then 35°C, today was a cloudy day and we even got some rain. Luckely we could observe the sun and had some interested visitors aswell.
