Zonnekijkdag Averbode

Vandaag is iedereen welkom op de zonnekijkdag. Vanaf 13h00 staat sterrenvereniging Helios Averbode aan "Het Moment" van de abdij van Averbode. Met telescopen met speciale filters zal het mogelijk zijn om naar de zon te kijken, natuurlijk wanneer er geen wolken zijn.

Jupiter

Last night again I made some pictures of Jupiter. I used the updated SharpCap 3.2 caputure software. Softwaresetting on Raw32. The optics consist of TAL200K with Barlow x2 and ADC. As camera I used ZWO ASI224MC. In total I took some 20' of pictures and stacking with AutoStakkert!2 and final editing using CS4. Seeing was overal bad.

Weather Summary June

June 2019 had  8 raindays and temperatures rather high with a new record for highest temperature in June (since the beginning of my weather station :) )

Jupiter

Last night I made some pictures of Jupiter. Unfortunately the seeing was bad. Again I used my setup with ADC and Barlow x2 on TAL200K. Pictures were taken with ASI224MC and capturing software SharpCap. Pictures are stacked using AutoStakker!2 and final editing with CS4.
The Great Red Spot (GRS) is seen at the side of the planet.
