Moondog or Paraselene
My first ever Moondog was observed yesterday evening. The sky was almost open and with the naked eye I could observe some color at 22° east from the Moon. My pictures proved I was right and thus confirmed my first ever Moondog. Scientifical speaking is's called a Paraselene and it is the same phenomenon as with sundogs.
