Globular Cluster M28

Globular Cluster M28 is located in constellation Sagittarius and 18000 light years away from Earth. The cluster is 12 billion years old. 



Details : Nikon D7500 with TLAPO 80/480 f/6 and total exposure of 450s; each picture ISO640 and 30s exposore. Raw files converted to DNG files and stacked using DeepSkyStacker. Final editing with CS4.

Globular Cluster M62

Globular Cluster M62 is located in constellation Ophiuchus and about 22500 light years from Earth. Picture was taken in Tessenderlo, during twilight and blocked by a tree.


Details : Nikon D7500 with TLAPO 80/480 f/6 and total exposure of 120s; each picture ISO640 and 30s exposore. Raw files converted to DNG files and stacked using DeepSkyStacker. Final editing with CS4.

Waxing Crescent Moon 8% Illuminated


This evening the Moon could be observed low above the Western Horizon. The moon, 60h after New Moon, is 8% illuminated.

Planet Neptune


Planet Neptune is currently loacted in constellation Aquaries. The picture shows also NGC7585 and NGC7576.

Uranus is currently loacted in constellation Aries.

Galaxy M77

Galaxy Messier M77 is located in constellation Cetus at a distance of 47 million light years away from Earth.


Details : picture was taken with Nikon D7500 and TLAPO80/480 f/6. Total exposure of 9 minutes, each picture 30s exposure and ISO6400. Raw pictures converted to DNG and stacking using DeepSkyStacker. Tiff32 bit files edited in CS4 and saved as 8bit Jpg. The picture was also uploaded in Astrometry resulting in finding more galaxies : NGC 1055, 1087 and 1090.
