The position of this solargraph was set towards the south with 50° angle. As a comparison I made a compilation between the solagraphs from the same period but with set with an angle of 0°.
Easy to use App to find Polar star and alignment. The image is the same as shown by the SkyWatcher or other mounts. See App PS Align or Polar Scope Align (v2.9).
The Adler Plantetarium exposes a piece of the meteorite which hit Earth about 50.000 years ago in Arizona - east of Flagstaff resulting into a crater, Barringer Crater or Meteor Crater. This Ni-Fe meteorite shown is about 500g and is normally exposed in the visitor's center in Arizona which I visited in 1997.
The Adler Planetarium in Chicago was the first one build in the western hemisphere and is the oldest one still operating. Outside the view of the Chicago skyline is fantastic and the statue of Copernicus welcomes you. Inside different expositions eg the moon race with Gemini and Apollo 13, planets, meteorites, the history of telescopes, instruments from the past and many shows.
