Using astrometry.net I was able to localize 7 NGC objects and 1 IC object from my M42picture :

NGC 1977 The Running Man Nebula
NGC 1982 or M43 Marian's Nebula
NGC 1976 or M42 Orion Nebula
NGC 1980 Lower Sword
IC 420
