Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2 in Taurus

Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2 is currently in constellation Taurus near star 5 Tauri (mag 4.1).
The comet is difficult to see with the naked eye and with a small telescoop it's seen as a blue colored blur.

Full moon today but was able to observe Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2.  Magnitude around 5.5 to 6.0
Color is bleu to green but could not observe the tail of the comet.

Sunny day with temperature up to 6°C. Ideal day to observe the sun and some sunspots.

Astronomical highlights 2014

The 2014 was a year with quit some interesting astronomical highlights.
The most impressive was seeing live the Space Shuttle "Enterprise" in New York. It was also my first time observing noctilucent clouds and my first article in the astronomical magazine "Heelal".
